Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We normally recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Most all-inclusive resorts are not affiliated with hotel loyalty programs, and the ones that are, well are generally pretty bad. The good news is that Hyatt has made a big push in recent years to change that.
I’ve been collecting points and miles since 2009, and this is easily one of our favorite uses of hotel points. Recently we saw The Platinum Card® from American Express relaunched with new benefits, a bigger sign-up bonus, and a higher annual fee. The card now has a sign-up bonus of 60,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $5,000 within three months.
