Normally when you’re searching with Google Flights, it acts just like a normal flight search engine. You enter your departure city in one field, your destination in the other field and departure and return dates to see flight prices. I think it is fair to say that some have become desensitized a bit to European airfare sales in the $400 – $500 per round trip range, but you really shouldn’t be. At least, I shouldn’t be. Being able to fly from somewhere like Houston to Scotland on a full service airline for around $500 per round trip is pretty outstanding, especially if you have a wide range of dates to pick from.
