About a month ago, I told you about upcoming changes to The Platinum Card from American Express.
Some changes were good (like $200 in Uber credits per year), and some were definitely bad (like an increased annual fee). These changes are now live!
And the card now comes with a new 60,000 AMEX Membership Rewards point sign-up bonus after meeting minimum spending. That’s more than enough for 2 round-trip flights to anywhere in the mainland US!
Flights to Bali, Indonesia

Cheap flights from New York to Indonesia, Thailand or Singapore from only $515 roundtrip.
Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.LEARN MORE!

And now Walla.by says that a “source close to the matter has reached out to us to confirm details and timelines.” Walla.by even posted this grainy card image: LEARN MORE!
